Corrections & Updates
Readers should be able to question factual accuracy and request a transparent correction.
How to report an issue
Email contact@asmaraexpress.com with the article URL, the wording at issue, a description of the concern, and any supporting evidence. Please avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Review process
Submissions should be reviewed against the available evidence by an authorized editor. A material factual error should be corrected promptly when verified, with a visible correction notice explaining what changed. Smaller clarifications and substantive updates should be labeled appropriately; serious errors may warrant withdrawal or retraction.
External publisher reports
Corrections to outside articles generally belong to the originating publisher. Asmara Express may correct its description or remove an outdated link.
Record of changes
For Asmara Express published reports, the application is designed to display approved corrections alongside the report. A public correction log will not contain unpublished editorial drafts.
Status: This corrections and retractions guidance operates under Asmara Express Editorial Governance and Publication Policy AE-POL-001, Version 1.0, approved October 28, 2026. Material corrections and retractions require authorized editorial review and preservation of an auditable history.
